An interview shows how someone talks about their work. A centre shows how they do it.

Clearer Decision
When people are in the right role, their career can take off.
Same method, two purposes
What is the centre for?
Both use realistic exercises and trained observers. What changes is the question you are answering and what people receive afterwards.
Who is ready for this role?
Assessment Centre
Observe how people think, communicate and respond in role-relevant situations. Compare the evidence with agreed requirements to support hiring or promotion.
You receive: a recommendation, supporting evidence, unresolved questions, and onboarding or transition priorities.
What would help our people develop?
Development Centre
Give people realistic opportunities to demonstrate their approach, reflect and receive useful feedback. The focus is growth against agreed development goals. There is no pass or fail.
You receive: strengths, development priorities, practical actions and the support that will help.
We agree the purpose, who sees the findings and how they will be used before the centre begins, so people know what they are taking part in. Feedback arrangements are designed around that purpose.
Built around the role
One approach, shaped for your people.
Every centre starts with what the role needs. Choose a group to see how the exercises could change.

How a day works
Evidence from more than one moment.
Seeing someone in different situations gives a fuller picture than one interview can. A typical day brings these moments together.
Think and work together
People think on their own first, then work as a group on a shared business case.
Present and explain
Each group presents to assessors, then individuals answer questions on their own reasoning.
Handle a real conversation
A one-to-one role play shows how each person responds in the moment, followed by structured reflection.
Bring the evidence together
Assessors rate independently first, then discuss the evidence and agree one view of each person.
Sample only: one format can take 12 participants through a day in three groups. Numbers, timings and exercises are agreed for your roles and available assessors.
Fair by design
The same chance for everyone.
A centre is only useful if you can trust the evidence. These safeguards are built in from the start.
Everyone receives the same brief, timing and scoring guide.
Assessors are trained in what to look for and how to record it.
Role-players follow agreed responses, so each person gets a fair test.
Ratings are recorded independently before the panel discusses them.
Each person is seen across several sources of evidence.
Appropriate adjustments are agreed in advance.
Contradictions and remaining gaps are made visible.
Your organisation makes the final appointment or promotion decision. Development findings support the agreed growth objectives.

From realistic exercises to useful conclusions.
Before the day
Purpose and criteria
Confirm the role or development goals, relevant competencies and evidence sources, including any interview notes your team shares.
The day
Exercises
The group case and role play add evidence of how each person works.
Same day
Calibration
Assessors record judgements independently, compare evidence and identify what remains uncertain.
Afterwards
Profile
A clear summary of the conclusion, the evidence and the priorities.
Using the findings
Next step
For selection, you make the decision. For development, the findings inform feedback, practical actions and support.
A follow-up conversation is only needed where a specific evidence gap remains.
Ways to work together
Keep the capability in your organisation.
Choose how much you want POV to do. The goal is a centre that fits your organisation and that your team can trust and use.
Design & Equip
We develop the agreed materials and prepare your assessors. Your team conducts the centre, finalises judgements and produces participant profiles.
Design & Deliver
We design and deliver the agreed centre with your team, including assessment, calibration and completed profiles.
Review & Refine
We review your existing design and materials and, where agreed, observe delivery. You receive practical findings and agreed improvements.
A fast-track plan can reach the assessor workshop in about nine working days, depending on your inputs and availability. Live delivery, profiles and individual feedback are scheduled separately.
